Flow control valves are multifunctional valves that use a high-precision pilot method to control flow. Flow Control Valves are Categorized Into Five Types According to Their Purpose:

Speed Control Valve: in the load pressure change can keep the throttle valve inlet and outlet pressure difference for a fixed value. Diverter Valve: regardless of the size of the load, can make the same oil source of the two actuators to get equal flow for the equal amount of shunt valve or synchronous valve to get proportional distribution of flow for the proportional shunt valve.

④ Collector Valve: the role of the opposite of the shunt valve, so that the flow into the collector valve of the proportional distribution of the flow.

Diverter and Collector Valves: both diverter and collector valves have two functions.


Control Valve Body Type


There are many types of control valve body, commonly used are straight through single-seated, straight through double-seated, angle, diaphragm, small flow, three-way, eccentric rotary, butterfly, sleeve type, spherical and so on. In the specific selection, the following considerations can be made:

1. Mainly according to the selected flow characteristics and unbalanced force and other factors to consider.

2. When the fluid medium is a suspension containing a high concentration of abrasive particles, the internal material of the valve should be hard.

3. Because the medium is corrosive, try to choose the structure of a simple valve.

4. When the medium of high temperature, pressure and large changes, should choose the valve spool and seat materials by the temperature, pressure changes in the valve.

5. Flash and cavitation only produced in liquid media. In the actual production process, flash and cavitation will form vibration and noise, shorten the service life of the valve, so the valve should be selected to prevent the valve flash and cavitation.


The Working Principle of the Flow Control Valve:


The structure of the digital flow control valve consists of an automatic spool, a manual spool and a display section. The display part consists of flow valve movement, sensor transmitter and electronic calculator display.

The work of the flow control valve is its complexity, the measured water flow through the valve, the water flow impact flow movement within the impeller, impeller rotation and sensing transmitter induction, so that the sensor sends out a proportional to the flow rate of the signal, the flow rate signal through the wire into the electronic calculator, after the calculator calculates the microprocessor processing, the value of its flow rate is displayed.

Manual spool valve is used to adjust the flow rate, according to the display value to set the required flow rate value. Automatic spool is used to maintain a constant flow, that is, when the pressure changes in the network, the automatic spool will be under the action of the pressure automatically open the fire shut off the valve port to maintain the set flow rate value unchanged.
